YESTERDAY: 2-0 (+20 units)
FEBRUARY: 16-15-1 (+18.6 units)
ALL TIME: 16-15-1 (+18.6 units)
RECAP: Back into the life of positive units. A few more wins and I might go buy a Rolex. The Leathernecks were able to keep the game close during the first half. We were never nervous however, as The Coyotes took hold of the game in the second half and never let up. Trey Dickerson lead The Yotes with 21 points and 2-3 from 3 point range. Thanks Trey! Portland was a little less comfortable, as they were down until there was about 5 minutes left in the game. Damian Lillard proved to be too much for the Magic to handle however, and put up 33 points in the victory. Thanks Damian! Well, tonight we have a full slate to pick from. ONWARD!
Sienna at MONMOUTH -8.5
6pm central
(11 units wagered, 10 units won)
MAAC BASKETBALL!!!! We have the cream of the crop in Monmouth, taking on Sienna. Monmouth is on a 14 game winning streak and show no signs of letting up. Last time these two teams played Monmouth won by 20.... at Sienna. Justin Robinson put up 40 points in the match up on 8 of 13 from three. Over the past three games, the 5ft 8in Robinson has hit 18 threes on 27 attempts. Thats 66% from three over that time period. The kid is on fire, and Sienna won't be able to extinguish the flames. Monmouth is gearing up for the NCAA tournament and should be using every game they have to improve. The Hawks have also earned some respect in our trusted Kenpom rankings sitting at 78. Sienna is currently at 185. Monmouth is 1st in the conference averagine 81.1 ppg. Sienna is 225 in the nation in opponent points per game. They are also only putting in just over 73 ppg of their own. I expect The Hawks to score early and often, and The Saints won't have the fire power to keep up. Take Monmouth tonight and watch Justin Robinson lead them to victory.
SAINT PETER'S -6.5 at Niagra
6pm central
(11 units wagered, 10 units won)
More MAAC basketball. We have another enticing match up in the best conference in college. The Peacocks take on The Purple Eagles at The Gallagher Center. First of all I'd like to say the Peacocks would be intimidated by the Eagles.... Except they are freakin purple. How can you be afraid of anything that is purple. It is like Niagra decided, lets take a really bad ass mascot, and just completely ruin it. Now I am not too educated on Peacocks but those feathers are fierce. When it spreads out its feathers, I would run away. I believe that The Eagles will be hiding from The Peacocks as they are embarrassed of their strange coloring and intimidated by the huge colorful peacock feathers. Now if this isn't enough information for you to take Saint Peter's, The Kenpom rankings have them at 116 and Niagra sitting at 252. Saint Peter's is gearing up for the MAAC tournament and would like to hold on to their 2 seed in order to avoid playing Monmouth before the championship round. Last time these two teams played Niagra was able to upset them and I believe this will supply Saint Peter's with added motivation. Saint Peter's is also the hotter team coming into tonight's game on a 4 game winning streak where they beat their opponents by a combined 94 points.. Niagra has lost their last 3 by a combined 38 points. One team is hot, One team is not. Take the hot team, roll with Saint Peter's tonight.
DAYTON -2.5 at Davidson
8pm central
(11 units wagered, 10 units won)
Dayton is still fighting for the A10 championship. In doing that they have carried themselves to a 7 game winning streak. Dayton also sits at 35th in the nation in opponent points per game. This has helped propel them to a 34th ranking in the Kenpom. Davidson sits at 92 in the rankings. Charles Cooke, Kendall Pollard, and Scoochie Smith have all been on a tear for The Flyers. The Flyers lost to VCU who currently have the same record as them in the A10. With three games remaining, and one remaining against first place VCU, I believe Archie Miller will have The Flyers hungry for every win. Also, if you bet against Dayton daily subscriber Dimitri Tsiribas may cut your hand off with a samurai sword.... or his own...Take Dayton, and keep your limbs.
