RECAP: I apologize for the break. With college basketball being over, it has been harder to find picks. We have NBA and NHL playoff action on the horizon. MLB has kicked off as well. Today we have a couple picks that I feel confident about.


Chicago White Sox at Cleveland Indians OVER 8.5

James Shields may have had a good game his first outing of the season. I am just not buying it yet. He had a 6.77 ERA for the White Sox last season in 114 innings pitched. The Cleveland Indians are a great team. It is possible they will put up 8 runs by themselves. The White Sox will need a few runs of their own if they want to make it a game. I look for them to get over 8.5 no problem.


Phoenix Suns at Sacramento Kings OVER 221.5

Both teams have nothing left to defend over. Their young players are trying to put up numbers and prove that they belong in the league. The Suns have gone over 5 of their last 6 games. Sacramento scares me a little bit, having only gone over 2 of their last 4. However this shouldn't be a problem due to the lack of defense on the Suns part. I'm taking the over here, as I think both teams could have close to 120 points.
